Portugal
[ overview ]There’s something effortlessly cool about Portugal—a place that feels both vibrant and a little under-the-radar in the best way. Lisbon is all hills and heart, where golden light spills over tiled buildings and the sound of music drifts through narrow streets. It’s alive with culture and energy, yet somehow still feels like you’ve discovered something special before the rest of the world fully caught on. And just a short journey away, Sintra feels like stepping into another world entirely—lush, mountainous, and dotted with fairytale palaces where history and nature blend in the most surreal, beautiful way.
Then the landscape shifts, and the south opens up into the magic of the Algarve. The coastline is breathtaking—golden cliffs carved into dramatic shapes, stretching alongside water so vividly blue it almost doesn’t feel real. It has that same allure people chase in the Caribbean or the South of France, but with a quieter, more untouched charm that makes it feel like a true hidden gem. And then there’s Porto—my love. The tiles alone are enough to steal your heart. Every building feels like a canvas, covered in intricate azulejos in endless patterns and colors, each one telling its own story. I have countless photos of them, and not a single one feels the same. Porto has this calm, soulful energy—where architecture, history, and port wine come together in a way that feels rich but never overwhelming.
Portugal is quirky, creative, and deeply authentic. It’s a place that surprises you, slows you down, and leaves you with a feeling that’s hard to replicate anywhere else.

Today is about layering in Lisbon’s personality.

Take a day trip to Sintra—an easy train ride.
This is where Portugal turns fairytale. Lush hills, misty air, and palaces that feel almost surreal.
